Is Millicent a real person?+
No. She's an AI, and she says so whenever someone asks. Server admins can't switch that off, and her messages carry an AI tag.
Is she an AI companion or a therapist?+
Neither. She's a community member and helper for Discord servers. When someone seems to be struggling, she points them to human staff and, in the US, to 988.
Where do her answers come from?+
For support questions, only from the documents you give her, like your FAQ or rules. If the answer isn't there, she says she doesn't know and can ping your staff.
What does she remember, and can people delete it?+
Members she talks with, ongoing storylines and recent context. Memories fade after 90 days by default. Anyone can say "Millicent, forget me", and admins can browse, export or delete everything from the dashboard.
Which AI does she use, and what does it cost?+
Rent includes free AI models, so there's no extra bill. You can also plug in your own OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini or any OpenAI-compatible key; then that provider bills you directly.
Does she speak other languages?+
Yes. She replies in the language people write in, with a dedicated second language you choose (Georgian is a favourite).
Will she insult my members?+
Only the ones who earn it. Take a shot at her and she takes one back. Try to trick her and she roasts the attempt in front of everyone. Members can join her roast list for fun, and anyone can say "stop teasing me" to be off it for good. She never goes after who someone is, their body, money, family or real life, and when someone is genuinely struggling the sass switches off. Admins choose how sharp she gets.
Will she spam my server?+
No. Her speak-gate decides when to talk: always for urgent problems, from your docs for real questions, only now and then for banter, and never in muted channels.
